The biomedical research company will bring new jobs that pay twice the county's average salary. Biopsy develops new products for the medical market, including an ultrasound breast biopsy site marker that is more comfortable for patients that mammogram-guided wire localization procedures. The announcement did not say how many new jobs would be created, nor where the company would locate within the County. The company is making the move under the Florida's Qualified Targeted Industry program, which provides tax credits for new, high-paying jobs created in the relocation of targeted, high-growth industries. « less
